Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor and is seeking a Commercial Manager to work on a large tunnelling project in Sweden. The ideal candidate would be a dynamic professional with knowledge of both contract management and tender management with good interpersonal skills.
Job Duties:
• Supervising the contract administration toward both the client and the vendors (suppliers, subcontractors, service providers, etc.)
• Reporting to the Project Management about all the specific contract issues that may arise
• Managing all the contracts, ensuring the correct interpretation and redaction of all the commercial agreements
• Supporting the procurement department in drafting both the general condition of standard contract/purchase order and the tailor made particular conditions of the contracts with the major supplier and subcontractors
• Managing together with the project management all the claims and the modifications
The successful candidate will have the following profile:
• Degree in Law or Engineering
• Fluency in English
• Swedish mother tongue
• Previous experience (3-5 years) in a similar role
• Knowledge of contract management within public contracts
• Experience with Swedish standard contracts such as AB04, AB or ABK
• Previous experience in similar roles within projects with Trafikverket will be a plus
