Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in network, infrastructure and web security with exposure to cloud security
- Experience with the AWS platform and services such as Config, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, S3, WAF, GuardDuty, Shield
- Experience designing and securing applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent technical Subject Matter Expertise in an area such as operating systems, network devices and protocols, web applications, infrastructure security technologies for on premise and for the cloud/IAAS
- Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD preferred.
- Knowledge of high traffic and other cloud-based infrastructures and how they affect security needs (i.e. cloud infrastructure, AWS, VMWare, SOA architectures)
- Understanding of TCP/IP, networking concepts, and services such as DNS, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS
- Some level of programming/scripting: Java, ASP.Net, Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell scripting, etc particularly as they pertain to automation tasks
- Experience with incident response, and understanding malware such as worms, viruses, and trojans
- Bachelor degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study or equivalent experience
- Relevant, industry recognized security certification such as AWS certification, CISSP, CISA
- Fluent English
Responsibilities:
- Manage the design, testing, launch, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud security solutions in AWS with a DevSecOps approach to cloud security
- Engineer, implement and manage cloud security tools and techniques to ensure the ongoing security and compliance of all cloud implementations
- Work with internal Engineering, IT Operations, Business and Security teams as well as external vendors to integrate and enhance cloud security
- Provide subject matter expertise in AWS and other Cloud technologies and support security documentation
- Train operations personnel, application support groups and other engineers in tools, technologies and procedures
- Proactively advise the business on how to maintain security posture and provide implementation support
- Perform risk assessments on existing or new AWS implementations and advise on remediation
- Develop scripts, tools or methodologies to monitor and automate the threat detection, vulnerability, changes etc. using AWS tools (e.g. AWS Config, Inspector, Trusted Advisor, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Guard Duty, AWS CLI, etc.) and third-party tools
- Maintain cloud security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to internal standards and procedures
