Your new company
On behalf of our Client, the company Stena Line, one of the world's leading ferry operators, we are currently looking for Candidate to hold the position of Claims Coordinator, preferably with knowledge of German. The position will be placed in Gdynia and is dedicated to Polish, German, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Latvian market.
Your new role
Holding the position of Claims Coordinator you will be expected to handle freight claims submitted in the online system from freight customers (all mentioned above markets) by following company procedures and standards, as well business agreements with customers, and industry best practices. Apart from claims handling process (which includes damage report analyzing, maintaining all necessary data in the internal system, handling invoices), your duties will include following up the company’s KPI for freight claims , as well as Service Level Agreements for handling different cargo and customers vehicles.You will be a part of international Port & Terminal Operations Team, aiming at developing and implementing routines for safety and quality in sea-transport by minimizing damage of cargo and vehicles. Moreover, you will participate in digitalization and automation of claims procedure.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should possess at least 3 years of experience handling commercial claims. A Candidate should be familiar with incoterms, freight standard agreements and contracts within freight and sea transport business. What is more, you should be a communicative and result-oriented person, capable of taking initiatives and cooperating with other departments. Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of German would be a big asset.
