The principal accountability would be to create models for scenario and statistical analyses to inform business decision making.

 

Key Accountabilities:

The Chief Data Architect (Regional) role is a global architecture role traversing horizontally across all Global Businesses (GB’s) and Global Functions (GF’s). The job reports to the Chief Data Architect and is accountable for the implementation of the Group Data Architecture strategy within their respective region.

The Chief Data Architect (Regional) takes responsibility for delivery of a number of <global/regional/product> architecture activities. The job holder leads the design and development of architectures, which are aligned with group standards, IT and business strategy, meet business objectives and satisfy all relevant regulatory and operational risk controls. The Chief Data Architect (Regional) is responsible for participating and assuring the operation of the global practice of architecture within their relevant area.

 

Requirements:

Demonstrated knowledge of the Financial Services industry including industry trends, competitive pressures, product and service offerings and organisational operating models.

Experience of working within a large, complex and geographically dispersed organisation (including matrix management structure and across time zones).

An influential thought leader with extensive experience of working within a data function that actively defines strategy and functionality to be implemented on both new and existing systems / components.

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the power and value of data with an ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs and deliver organisational strategy.

Strong relationship management capabilities with an ability to engage, influence and collaborate with stakeholders across organisational boundaries enabling the delivery of high standard outcomes.

Embracing Change & Innovation - A track record of delivering change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways.

Achieving Excellence - Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field.
