My client is a multinational, international trading company
We are currently looking to recruit on their behalf a Chief Accountant who will lead all aspects of accounting and manage a team.

RESPONSIBILITES:
Managing and coordinating monthly financial reporting packages and owning complex areas of reporting
Oversee all accounting processes and be able to recommend improvements to a Group and a Finance Director
Ensure all transactions comply with IFRS and local standards
VAT returns and declarations recorded correctly including being the contact point regarding VAT queries for multiple European countries and monitor changes in CIT areas
Manage external and internal audits
Intercompany transactions are recorded correctly
Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Coordinating Transfer Pricing documentation
Cross-functional cooperation within finance team
Act as a mentor and supervise small accounting team
Build and maintain strong working relationships and act as a Finance Business Partner
REQUIREMENTS:
University MA/MSc degree in Finance & Accounting
5+ years of relevant work experience in business with turnover of above 300 million PLN
Leadership experience
Knowledge of statutory and international accounting rules standards
Fluency in English both written and spoken
Experience in working with a SAP system
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Strong communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic environment
Big4 background or ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred
