Chief Accountant
Miejsce pracy: Racibórz
For our Client, international manufacturing company, we are currently looking for experienced candidates on the position of Chief Accountant/ Accounting Manager.
Scope of responsibilities:
- responsible for building, supervising and managing Finance & Accounting Team
- responsible for preparing statutory and group (IFRS) accounts and in charge of accounting activities, including monthly, quarterly and yearly closing of the general ledgers
- ensuring that accounting policies and practices of the organization are implemented and respected
- responsible for timely carrying out accurate accounting activities of the company in accordance with the legal provisions in force
- reconciling all balance sheet accounts and related analyses (including bank, intercompany, prepayments and other balance sheet accounts)
- coordinating Treasury functions including financial liquidity, cash planning, cash reporting, payments, foreign currency management, bank account setup, maintenance and bank relationship management
- preparing all regular internal and external financial reports
- drafting of documentation for tax returns in accordance with latest legal provisions
- acting as the first contact person for government, financial and tax authorities
- ensuring proper coordination of external audit and serving as the main contact person for auditors (providing auditors with all relevant data and information for auditing consolidated accounts)
Requirements:
- university degree in Economics
- minimum 5 years professional experience in the area of responsibility (experience in an industrial and/or auditing company preferred)
- good knowledge of SAP FI system
- extensive IFRS knowledge
- fluency in English
- accuracy & excellent analytical skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills
