Chief Accountant (m/f)
Our client is an International services company operating Globally, and due to company expansion and portfolio of theirs services provided , they are looking for candidate that will take the new role of Chief Accountant . The person will play significant role within the company and will support and report to Finance Director of The company.

Description
- Full responsibility for accounting and tax matters in entities operating in Poland
- Financial statements / depositing financial statements to NBP and the Tax Office
- Tax returns (CIT, VAT, deferred tax), communication with the Tax Office
- Control of accounting operations according to accounting principles and tax legislation
- Correct internal management of documents and archiving accounting documents according to legislation
- Cooperation with external financial institutions (banks, national statistical authorities, audit)
- Team management (5-10 accountants)
- Supporting optimization of accounting processes
Profile
- Min. 5 years of experience in finance and at least 1 years of experience in similar position (e.g. chief accountant) in international company
- Fluent English, Polish
- Good understanding of Polish accounting standards and tax legislation
- Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with leading the team and delegation of responsibilities
- Business oriented, good communication skills
- Independence, attention to detail, solution oriented
