For our Client, an international company that is a supplier of non-food products for the retail industry, we are looking for a Category Manager.
The person employed in this position will be responsible for the selection of the collection, the offer and execution of orders, the management of the supplier base, monitoring the timeliness and quality of deliveries, analysis of sales results.
The Candidate in this position will be responsible for the selection, introduction and development of the product collection from a given segment. Her/ his duties will include the creation and implementation of trade policy by searching for suppliers, creating inquiries, collecting and analyzing offers and conducting negotiations in international environment. In addition, Category Manager will be responsible for overseeing the appropriate level of product quality and close cooperation with stores and the logistics department to ensure the availability of goods for continuous sale, as well as tracking market trends and competition.
We are looking for a person with 2-3 years of experience as a Category Manager with ability to plan, manage short and long-term goals and a strong orientation to achieve goals. It is also important to have experience in global negotiations.
The ideal Candidate is an independent person, demonstrating high cooperation skills, communication and openness in relations with both internal clients and suppliers. Higher education, very good knowledge of MS Office, fluent knowledge of English is a must.
