HRO Personnel is a Human Resources service provider operating under number 6696. We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Business System Analyst (Payments)
To be a Subject Matter Expert for either Global Payment System or Group Messaging Gateway. To support Projects, System releases and Change requests submitted by internal stakeholders or as a result of Regulatory requirements, and to be the knowledge base or escalation point for other areas. Provide incident support during system outages, delivering clear updates to all stakeholders, and escalates where necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Key Accountabilities:
• Liaising with Internal Customers and Stakeholders to improve customer experience, reduce risk and resolve issues.
• Attend and participate in meetings relating to their SME role/project in both internal and external meetings and working groups
• Identify and anticipate problems, inviting ideas, identifying symptoms from causes, and acting decisively to implement solutions.
• Analyze, test and implement changes accurately from user requirements with frequent updates communicated.
• Ensuring all production development and testing follows an Audit approved documented process and is signed off in agreement with stakeholders and UKPS management.
• In system related projects, the role holder will support IT Teams with the translation of business requirements and designs into more detailed functional requirements.
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with relevant teams across a wide range of areas throughout the organization.
• To continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
• Demonstrate adherence to internal controls and strong risk awareness.
Requirements:
• Payments knowledge encompassing message types, formatting of messages and Swift Guidelines.
• At least two years Payment/Project experience.
• Practical analysis and problem solving skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Self-driven, ability to work with minimal direction / supervision once trained.
