Business Intelligence application engineer

Application Services Global Delivery Poland located in Warsaw offers software development and maintenance services to HP customers all over the world. Poland Center focuses on Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, Web Solutions, SAP R/3 and SAP BW implementation, Application Management, Quality Assurance & Testing, Business and Systems Analysis. Most of GDAS Poland Center employees hold multiple certifications from Oracle, Sun, Microsoft, SAP, OBI, ISEB, ISTQB, ITIL, CMMI, PMP and Six Sigma.
We are looking for:
Business Intelligence application engineer
Job location: all
Successful candidate will work as a SPOC for application-related knowledge (technologies, infrastructure, performance, interfaces, and business usage). Job will require frequent interactions with IT teams, customers and external vendors.
We require:
- University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in IT
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
- Fast learning and well developed analytical thinking skills
- Very good communication skills and teamwork
- Initiative and willingness to take responsibility
- High personal standards
- Well-developed analytical thinking abilities
- Creative approach to problem solving
Technical capabilities:
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence systems
- Good knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle
- Practical experience in one of below technologies: SAP Business Objects, Tibco Spotfire, Qlik, Cognos, OBIEE
We appreciate:
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken German,
- Working involvement in Application Management or Project management
- Professional experience in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing
- Technical Certifications in related technologies
- Familiarity with the following technologies: Unix/Linux, SharePoint,
