THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Germany.

For one of our Clients, An international Pharma company, I am currently looking for a Business Development Manager.
The company is an international laboratory group at the service of doctors and the healthcare industry. The company invests in continuous improvement in the fields of clinical pathology and Anatomopathology.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible to improve the market position and achieve financial growth. This person defines long-term organisational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieving Sales goals & ensuring financial growth
• Strategy development & Actively building territory
• Acquisition & maintaining of (new) customer relationships.
• Develop a strong cross - functional Collaboration.
• Develop a SWOT analysis to ensure future growth of the business and act on these by monitoring the competition and aligning the portfolio with new customer trends
• Facilitate the transition of new studies from sales to the operations teams, ensuring that customer preferences and requests are communicated
• Attend and contribute to sales and project meetings
• Report in our CRM system for timely and accurate, forecast management

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in Life-Sciences or equivalent.
• Professional track record in Business Development, preferably in Central Lab services.
• Minimum 6 years sales experience in total with demonstrated sales success.
• Thorough understanding of the clinical development process.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); other languages are an asset.
• Ability to work independently and in a multi-functional team environment.
• Individual should have a proven track record at mid and high level contacts.
• Ability to travel up to 80%.
