URGO Polfa Łódź is a Polish branch of the international pharmaceutical group URGO, which employs over 3000 professionals worldwide. We have over 16 years of experience on the Polish market where we own brands: Labolatoria Polfa - Lodz, Alugastrin, URGO, Humer, and we are the exclusive distributor of dermo-cosmetics laboratories Uriage, Auriga and also one of the leaders at Polish Aesthetic Medicine market with our distribution brands: NeoStrata, Mesoestetic and Merz Aesthetic. Since 2016 we are also a strong player at advanced wound healing market with our URGO TUL dressings.
At the moment we are developing our operation in CEE countries and we are looking for proactive person with a strong will to achieve our bussines goals to join our Financial Team for CEE, based in Warsaw, Poland, at the position of:
Business Analyst CEE
Workplace: Warszawa

Reference Number: BA CEE
Responsible for:
- shape the financial controlling department for CEE region;
- coordinate and drive preparation of budget, monthly re-forecast, 5 years strategic plan for the region;
- prepare and publish monthly reports (Sales, P&L, KPI reports…) in line with group requirements and standards for CEE region;
- analyze and report variance to the top management (including proposal of corrective actions)
Participate actively in:
- business review preparation and presentation to the top management (including shareholder) with Regional CFO and Regional Director;
- monthly and yearly closing
- driving growth of revenues and reducing costs;
- support business transformation (launch of new product, new business unit, M&A…);
- support operational team across countries;
- interim audit and final audit preparation.
Respect deadlines and ensure accurate figures.
Maintain financial security by maintaining relevant internal controls.
Participate in corporate ad-hoc projects such as ERP implementation and improvement of current business processes.
Help other departments in decision making process (pricing, financial modeling, cost analysis…)
Requirements:
- BA/MS in business with a major in controlling
- 2-3 years as business analyst, controller for an international company (PHARMA industry + / Audit experience)
- Ability to communicate with other teams/departments
- Ability to multi-tasks, work under pressure (short deadline)
- Ability to summary and simplify
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong IT skills: MS Excel – SAP R/3 (CO / FI / BW)
- Language: fluent in English – fluent French will be the advantage
