THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Brabant Flamand Belgium.
My client is a medium-sized company which is currently very competitive in the market and a growing organisation. My client is currently looking for a new breeding project manager.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As project manager breeding you will be leading your own breeding programme. You will have responsibility of the planning and coordination of capacity and resources.
You will work in an international team of 6 breeders, each of which have their own breeding programme. There is ample room to discuss the opportunities and decisions to be made with your colleagues in a friendly atmosphere.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As project manager you will need to plan the activities around the breeding and allocate the necessary resources for execution. Your involvement will be from the very beginning to the commercialisation of the product. This means that you will be in contact with the multiple teams within the company.
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in a plant sciences related field;
- Good experience and knowledge of genetics;
- Experience with hybrid plant breeding;
- English and any other language.
