The company of our client is well known within the agricultural breeding businesses. It produces a wide range of seeds/products for all over the world. Biotechnology and molecular breeding are the way to go in this company. Their focus is mainly aimed at quality consistency and technology developments. ROLE DESCRIPTION

The demand for their product keeps rising and their company keeps growing. Clustering knowledge from multiple owners of which each has their own specialty results in excitement and a boost in their investments and results.

As Biotechnologist/Molecular Breeder you will be the expert in this field. Your focus will be directed at a better understanding of the association between data brought forward by analysis. This data provides you with rich and valuable knowledge. Thus it is your responsibility to interpret these results and understand how to apply them. All together an interesting combination between data analysis and actual breeding

You will be part of the R&D department, build on projects, mapping and planning. The data analyses are the source for improvement which you will monitor and enhance. This will result into development of new species, required traits assessments and resistance improvement and so on. *

RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform your role you will be responsible for the following areas:

• Improve and develop existing and new species by interpreting data
• Work together with other breeding experts on multiple breeding projects
• Focus on result processing driven from data history acquired by you and other breeders
• Realize the targets from the breeding programs and manage the planning accordingly

REQUIREMENTS

• PhD in Agricultural related field
• Between 2-5 years of experience in the Crops Sciences
• Good breeding techniques, bio-informatics, genetics, molecular understanding and research knowledge
• Analytical, planning and project management skills
• Focus on strategic goals
• Strong writing and speaking skills in English
• Mentoring, friendly, initiative and open personality to support the organization.
