Role Description

As the biomedical associate you are responsible for helping the commercial launch of an innovative medical device that helps surgeons and anesthetists pick up on-, and prevent adverse events during surgery. Based on your medical, biomedical engineering or similar background you will get in touch with surgery professionals to train them on the product, take in their feedback and be part of further development of the product.

The role is expected to go for one year. It requires a lot of travelling through Europe and occasionally the US West coast.

Responsibilities

You get to visit all customer hospitals that make use of this newest technology, monitor during surgeries, perform review conversations with medical professionals and report back to clinical R&D group, the marketing team and corporate teams. You get to work with minimal supervision, travel across Europe where you get to work with and explain pinnacle medical device technology to medical professionals.

Requirements

- Strong background in (bio)medical engineering
- Knowledge of anatomy and human physiology
- Strong communicator; able to explain complex medical technology (which you will be trained in)
- Experience with clinicians or medical professionals
- Ability to take in feedback and write clear reports to the other teams
