ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Bioinformatician, you will work both autonomously and with other scientists in the team. You will be in charge of next-generation sequencing data. It is important that you are able to adjust your activities according to the needs of the breeders and other stakeholders within the company. Additionally, one of your focuses will be to develop tools that ensure that the genomics data and results can be shared easily with other non research focused colleagues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Taking charge of next-generation sequencing data
- Develop tools that ensure easy sharing of genomics data with other colleagues
- Flexibility to respond to changing needs within the company
- Report to the department Manager Bioinformatics
REQUIREMENTS
- You have a Master degree in bioinformatics
- You have at least two years of experience in the field of bioinformatics
- Extensive experience with Perl, Python and R
- Excellent proficiency of German and English language
