At the moment we are looking for:

- Design, develop, operate and support applications and Big Data components
- Data analysis and design, HDFS layout, stream ingestion, data transforms and integration, data quality checks, software deployments
- Configuration management, automated testing, maintenance,
troubleshooting within on premise and cloud based Hadoop clusters - Design, develop and support solutions and applications deployed in Microsoft Azure services suite (e.g. HD Insight, Spark, HBase)
- Help establish and maintain data governance, catalogues, and best practices
- Program and analyze data using technologies and languages such as Spark, Hive, Python, R and C# in Visual Studio
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues
- Cooperate with Operations team to design and implement maintenance routines, automated monitoring solutions, backup and disaster recovery strategy
- Support data analysts
- Master’s Degree in computer science or other relevant fields
- At least 3 years of work experience in fields relevant for software development, machine learning, data analytics
- Experience processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data
- Experience with Hadoop eco-system and tools such as Hive and Spark
- Experience with languages like Python, R and C#
- Experience with REST web API ecosystem
- Understand relational and non-relational database design principles, including normalization, de-normalization, and ability to read and interpret source and target systems
- Experience with front end development (html, CSS, JS)
- Project Management experience
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft development platform would be a desired benefit
- Fluency in English
