For our Client, international company located in Kraków, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join the BI Solution Delivery team.
Your new role
Holding the role of Data Engineer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of data loads & data transformations, integrating of multiple data source-formats into master data load as well as assisting in integrating development deliverables into project plans. Data Engineer will run project plans to create reporting solutions, ensure the solutions get implemented into QA and production environments. The person will be responsible for basic systems analysis, testing, debugging, documentation standards. Also, the important part would be applying standard development procedures and a detailed applications knowledge in area of responsibility to create technical designs driving towards simple, sustainable, and reusable solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful on this position, you need to hold university degree (preferably IT related) and strong experience as Data Engineer. You must be experienced with SQL coding languages, Business Intelligence DWH: Teradata, Oracle or similar and hold Tableau, Spotfire or other BI Front-End technologies experience. You should have knowledge of full system development life cycle hands-on experience: analysis, designing, coding, testing, performance tuning and documentation. Being proficient in the use of at least one ETL/ELT tool would be your strong advantage. Due to work in international experience, you need to speak fluent English.
