For our Client, a well-known insurance company we are looking a candidate for the position of Audit Manager.
The hired person will take ownership of and deliver SOX testing of business and IT controls (approximately 6000 Group wide) for an assigned portfolio of SOX clusters (approx. 15’000 direct testing hours), including aspects such as planning, execution, project management, review of results and issues and quality assurance in line with quality, time, efficiency and budget requirements. Work with the Head of SOX Testing/QA, Group Audit, and other global co-source partners to ensure appropriate resourcing, scheduling and technical expertise for delivery of SOX Testing portfolio. Support Head of Group Testing & QA in his approval for the annual SOX scoping and supervise all Testing activities in the assigned area of responsibility (timing, Methodology, providing guidance), including the clusters where testing is performed by outsourcing partner or other Testing Teams (Farmers Internal Control Governance, Financial Governance teams).
The ideal Candidate should have a professional accounting qualification and/or a Bachelor degree and Master degree in Accounting and CPA qualification. As a minimum 6+ years of external/ internal audit experience, ideally with exposure to financial services and insurance sectors with strong exposure to SOX controls. We are looking for a team player with strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills including leading teams of at least 5 team members.
