Associate Technical Consultant
Location: CracowOur Client is one of the biggest companies as for the internet traffic management and data caching. This is the leader in Web Application Acceleration, Performance Management and Streaming Media Services, having more than 200.000 servers and delivering up to 30% of all Web traffic.
Currently for our Client we are looking for an Associate Technical Consultant in Cracow.
What You Will Do:
- Work as a member of a cross-functional pre-sales team supporting the pre-sales activities within a Geo and Industry
- PoC/Trial support – work closely with the Solutions Engineer to execute on the steps needed to complete a successful PoC/Trial
- Become proficient in the implementation of company’s solution portfolio, including Web Acceleration and Cloud Security
- Demos – run product demonstrations for our clients and prospects
- Technical Prospecting - Assess and analyze customer web applications and web traffic to help identify opportunities
- Provide thought leadership by actively developing and supporting tools and solutions supporting sales and pre-sales efforts
- Partner with Pre-Sales and Sales teams in developing Value Confirmation presentations for the Customer Business Reviews
- Partner with Services, Business Support, Sales, Engineering, Product Development and AkaTec to resolve issues that arise during customer trials, PoC’s and integrations
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Internet technologies including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS and web servers, or relevant course work
- Minimum 1 year of related professional work experience, such as customer support or web development, or relevant course work
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information System or relevant field
- Good command of English
Desired Qualifications:
- Technical programming background - J2EE, .NET, Web Services experience a plus
- Experience with hosting or developing Internet delivered applications, managed security services, enterprise and data center networks, caching proxies, and load balancing
- Experience with TCP/IP network debugging with tcpdump or similar
- Advanced knowledge of the internet and internet related technologies
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the web application security field
- Experience with general security technologies, processes, and concepts
- IT solution delivery experience, preferably within a consulting organization
- Experience with data processing, Real Time Reporting and Analytics as it relates to Web Security
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and innovation
