For our Client, a well-known international company located in Kraków we’re currently looking for Associate Data Architect with a with a passion to data to lead the data design and development of the architecture for business solutions.
Your new role
The Associate Data Architect contributes to the design and development of architectures in data modelling, reference data and document management that are aligned with Group standards. At this position you will be responsible for supporting the definition of blueprints including architectural principles, guardrails and standards, conceptual, logical and physical architectures, patterns and roadmaps. Moreover, you will be using knowledge and expertise to provide recommendations to migrate from legacy data technologies / applications to the defined future state, including transitionary states.
Additionally you will be providing technical expertise and collaborating with GB’s and GF’s to determine their data technology needs through understanding of their use cases and associated requirements as well as supporting the delivery of a holistic and integrated Group Data Architecture strategy. What's more, assisting with new technology proof of concept’s to test functionality and suitability of a product/design.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate you need to have demonstrable experience of working in a data-related role; analytics, architecture, data science, engineering, data management and/or modelling with hands-on technical experience of using associated technologies as well as good knowledge and understanding of the power and value of data with an ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs and deliver organisational strategy. Moreover, experience in managing and resolving complex issues using proven analytical and problem solving skills.
TOGAF (or alternate Architecture framework) certification as well as experience of using Agile and DevOps methodologies will be considered as a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of the Financial Services industry including industry trends, competitive pressures, product and service offerings and organisational operating models will be a huge advantage.
