Responsibilities:
- Ability to understand the business problem and goal of the customer and translate it to technical work needed to solve that problem
- Contribute to design decisions and discussions with project teams
- Implement software applications
- Architect & design for the solution within the parameters of the existing product, help the team explore the solution and take ownership of the delivery of code
- Take ownership of working with the team to distribute work and own the results including code management/test data/environment availability and deployment and release oversight
Required technical skills:
- Hands-on development experience using Microsoft .NET Framework (through 3.5/4.0) with C# and ASP.NET
- Knowledge of SQL, including database design, developing stored procedures and functions, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Knowledge of web services
Other Requirements:
- Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- English language skills
Nice to have, but not mandatory skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Knowledge of VB
