Description
Currently we are looking for a Application Support Specialist who will carry out a project for our Client - an American data communication and telecommunication equipment provider.
Main tasks
- Participating in the investigation and analysis of system application needs and problems presented by customers.
- Providing expertise and technical knowledge about an application or suite of applications.
- Answering queries and resolving issues with software applications, and escalate or closes tickets as necessary.
- Maintaining customer requests and tracks the progress of the incident through to incident resolution.
- Interacting daily with internal customers, vendors, business partners, and management.
- Actively participating in the testing and implementation of new systems/applications.
Requirements
- Windows and Linux experience
- Basic shell scripting abilities
- Basic SQL queries knowledge
- Creating and maintaining documentation
- Problem solving skills
- Quick learner
- IT background preferred
- On-call rotation for off hour support
