For our Client, global information agency, the world's leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, we are searching for Application Support Engineer to join Queue Managment team.

You will be a member ofteam providing application support for the development team.The team is responsible for centralised ticket queue management, 3rd level application support, and the timely resolution of service issues assigned to the technology of development organisation.

Main responsibilitiesof Application Support Engineer will be: managing the central queue of service tickets in support of development issues, partnering with development customers on the escalation, triage and closure of service tickets, providing 3rd level application support forresearch contentdevelopment and escalates to principle developers, as needed, ensuring that timely updates are communicated to customers through ticket systems, emails, etc.

The ideal candidatehas demonstrated experience in application development and support in a complex organisation, ability to diagnose the proper escalation path by leveraging a broad understanding of development, infrastructure, data issues, a strong customer focused background with experience managing ticket queues and setting customer expectations, strong process, analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, especially in English (written, verbal, interpretive), as the individual will work with a global development team, the flexibility to work multiple shifts to ensure team coverage, Siebel ticketing system experience (HP Service Canter ticketing system experience preferred)
