Overview of Alternative Investment Services (AIS) department:
AIS is a collaborative development team with the goal of delivering a uniform, responsive user experience to clients. We are actively working on designing and implementing a comprehensive service delivery platform that not only provides our clients with a consistent and efficient way to access our services, but gives them an ability to make our services available within their own platforms. We embrace Agile methodology and Open Source technologies.
Overview of Nexen project:
NEXEN is our client's next-generation technology platform. It redefines finance and helps solve some of the challenges our clients face through its scale, data, automation, speed and access to third-party solutions. NEXEN's vast scale is driven by seven core components. First of all as a platform it is using highly scalable private cloud hosted in our data centers. It provides cohesive, integrated access to tremendous amount of client business data through APIs allowing integration between our internal services as well as with our clients’ solutions. There is also gateway piece (being migrated to Angular 5v at the moment), which delivers business solutions, capabilities and data across all access devices and workflow service providing common experience for our clients to initiate work, track progress and interact with services. Digital pulse gives us ability to track activities and transactions within the bank which results in predictive analytics and allows us to identify clients’ needs and drive creation of new services.
Finally there isApp Store which is a virtual store offering apps from a wide range of providers and on one of such applications you’ll be working on. It has frontend part based on AngularJS (1.2v), Angular (5v), Node (6v) and Bootstrap (3.2v) and backend which uses Java (1.8v), Spring, Spring Integration, Spring Batch (4.3v), and OAuth 2. It’s deployed on Apache Tomcat (8.0v), uses GitLab as a source control tool, Jenkins for CI and Jira for as a task management tool.

- Requirements Analysis
- Application design and implementation
- Unit Test design and implementation
- Application deployment
- Third level support of deployed applications
The candidate should have the following skills:
- 2+ years of experience in JavaScript
- JavaScript UI frameworks (Angular v1, v2+)
- Ability to create tests using Protractor, Karma, Jasmin
- Basic experience in java web application frameworks (preferably Spring)
- Web Services (REST preferable)
- Formal education in Computer Science or Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience in integration with multiple back-end systems
- Strong communication skills, both face to face and with remote locations
- Experience in working with offshore teams for delivering the projects
