DUTIES
  • Play key role in setting up the accounts to report function in the shared service center,
  • Maintain, enforce and enhance Guardian’s Desktop Procedures, including streamlining and improving the quality of inputs to Shared Services Processes,
  • Develop and retain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Manage team performance through coaching, counseling, planning/monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Directly supervise ATR staff
  • Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members
  • Ability to interview, hire and train employees
  • Ability to create a bridge between local Plant Finance and GBS staff
  • Resolve conflict and assist others as required
  • Foster communication and teamwork within and across organizational boundaries
  • Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Ensure strong internal controls are established and maintained in the ATR based activities Translate customer requests into useful reporting product
  • Build working relationships with internal customers (Plant Controllers, Regional Finance, Corporate Accounting)
  • Very deep understanding and knowledge of Plant operations
  • Ensure closing process and ensure quality, policy compliant, and on time month end submissions

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ideal candidate would have at least a Master’s Degree and experience in production company
  • Will only consider candidates with 5+ years of relevant and similar experience.
  • Ability to travel (up to 100% during transition period, 10% to 20% beyond)
  • Understanding and knowledge of glass manufacturing process is considered as a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of individual Plant manufacturing costing practices and models
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills - capable of executing through others (influence vs. control)
  • Resilient in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Demonstrated change/project management skills - can effectively lead projects by establishing priorities, building and executing project plans, and delivering on commitments,
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and use technology to improve the efficiency of the team
  • Proven ability of implementing best practices in a shared services environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
