Accounts Receivable Accountant
Miejsce pracy: Warszawa
Tasks
- Contribute to the timeliness and quality of the monthly Accounts Receivable closing process and the justification of AR and AP Customers balances.
- Manage customer payments-in on time: clearing with invoices and posting of claims with the correct root cause. Ensure payment allocations made as per customer remittance and monitor unallocated payments position. Work with sales to ensure all commercial deductions are recorded correctly.
- Initiate investigation on discrepancies on payment, follow-up until resolution.
- Apply Credit Policy, manage credit limits and automatic credit blockades.
- Calculate accruals at month-end. Perform other standard period-end activities.
- Manage efficiently, compliant and timely the processing of TS invoices from clients.
- Contribute to process efficiency improvement.
- Ensure the development of a good relationship with customers and relevant functions in the CBU.
- Guarantee effective internal control in the perimeter assigned and contribute to implement actions plans.
We expect
- Higher education, preferably finance or accounting-oriented.
- Preferred 1 year of experience in AR in multinational environment.
- Good knowledge of accounting.
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Openness for changing tasks and priorities.
- Accuracy and attention to details.
- Very good analytic skills.
- Team-playing attitude and determination.
- High level of English enabling effortless and fluent communication in everyday tasks in international environment.
- Knowledge of SAP and/or Navision will be asset.
