Your new role
The position ensures that accounting processes in the Accounts Payable area are being conducted properly (in line with accounting, and tax regulations as well as group policies and guidelines) and at the same time continuously improved. Management of several teams in Accounts Payable area, including appraisals, regular monitoring of teams’ performance and goal setting. Responsibility for providing high quality and efficient services in Accounts Payable area for the Group in line with SLA/OLA agreements, including cooperation with local CFOs, accounting managers and employees. Centralization and standardization of accounts payable processes. Compliance of accounts payable processes executed for entities in the scope of group policies, guidelines and procedures as well as standards. Responsible for efficient knowledge management in accounts payable area. Active participation in migration of accounting processes from local organizations.
What you'll need to succeed
Good / very good command of English language is a must. Solid knowledge of accounting standards (incl. IFRS), taxes, and corporate law. Good knowledge of financial and accounting processes within large organizations. Proven experience in leading large projects with numerous stakeholders. At least 5 years of work experience in managerial finance positions (accounting, audit or controlling) preferably in the area of SSC/BPO. Good knowledge of Lean Management and continuous improvement methodologies, project and change management. High level of people management competences (20-40 FTEs). Strong, mature character to be able to negotiate with Senior Group Management. High level of social competencies. High ability to work under time pressure and in rapidly changing environment.
