Your new role
As a Team Leader in Accounts Payable you will be responsible for leading and supporting the team members. She/he carries out recruitment, assessment and development conversations. Leads and coaches a team of clerks to deliver a series of daily tasks ensuring operating procedures are adhered and targets exceeded. Focal point for the total team e.g. at escalations during the daily process. Manage stakeholder relationships. Compliant handling of the accounting services, period close (form and execute) and all engagements related hereto, which involves natural interaction with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders. The responsibilities also include preparation of audit files and facilitation internal and external auditions. Identification of process improvements, participation in transition projects, maintenance of internal controls.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in accounting processes and 1-2 years of experience in leading a team. A degree in financial area will be an asset. MS Office including Excel. At least good working knowledge of English is a must. Very good accounting systems knowledge
