Accounting Manager (Interim 12-14 months)
The role is responsible for the efficient and effective managing of the team and day-to-day accounting operations of the organization.

Our Client is one of the global leaders within its sector and due to the need of maintaining their finance division they are currently seeking to recruit a highly qualified individual on the position of Accounting Manager.
Description
- Supervise all accounting, payroll and cash controls processes within the company
- Daily responsibility for accounting, balance sheet reconciliations and relevant external/ internal reporting
- Oversee timely preparation of financial statements as well as TAX and GUS declarations
- Cooperate with external audit
- Work closely with Finance professionals within the region
- Be an active member of the finance management team
- Lead, coach and develop the accounting team (more than 20 people)
- Take active part in on-going projects and initiatives affecting accounting & controls processes
Profile
- University degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience on similar position in an international environment
- Solid knowledge of Polish Accounting Standards and Polish tax regulations; Knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS will be an added value
- Very good English is essential
- IT literacy - knowledge of ERP class systems; experience in systems implementation will be a strong asset
- Proven experience in managing and developing teams
- Hands-on approach
- Target-driven with can-do attitude
- Capable of directing change management initiatives
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
