For our Client, an international company we are currently recruiting for a position

accountant

Key responsibilities
• AP/AR accounting (posting of invoices, monitoring of due/overdue invoices, contact with suppliers/customers, verification and filing of related accounting documentation etc)
• Accounting of travel expenses
• Selected GL accounting (intercompany postings, intercompany balance confirmation, reconciliation of accounts etc)
• Support during monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Preparation and control of monthly VAT register
• Support during preparation of statutory financial statements and statistics reporting
• Support during internal and external audits
• Preparation of SOX documentation

Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience as Accountant (AP/AR/GL)
• Experience of working for international group company in Poland
• Educational background of technical accounting high school or Bachelor of Accounting
• SAP working experience
• Good English language skills
• German language skills will be an asset
