For our Client, an international construction company, we are currently looking for experienced accountant who will join the Accounting Department in Warsaw Office.
On this position you will be responsible for performing company’s accounting operations in a timely and precise manner and ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures. Other duties involve managing fixed assets, resolving discrepancies and irregularities including balance sheet accounts reconciliations, preparing payment by accruing expenses, assigning account numbers and requesting disbursements. Your activities will be also focused on assisting with the preparation of tax declarations and controlling tax declarations (ex. VAT, CIT), assisting with year-end audits and assisting with preparation of month-end financial statements.
We are looking for specialists with min. 3 years of experience in accounting area, good knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles, Polish laws, codes and regulations. Professional requirements include analytical skills, passion for detail, reliability and ‘problem-solving’ attitude. Good written and oral communication skills in English and Polish are required. Good knowledge of MS Excel, and other MS Office applications is a must. Experience in the construction industry or similar project-oriented industry would be an advantage.
