Accountant General Ledger - Księgowy księgi głównej

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting (period end) processing and reporting, i.e., overseeing the correct reconciliation of accounts to GL.
  • Maintaining GL master data.
  • Monitoring and checking sub-ledger business transactions in SAP.
  • Performing daily activities related to fixed asset creation, maintenance and reporting.
  • Daily checking on reconciliation of external systems into SAP.
  • Postings of manual business transactions.
  • Performing GL account reconciliations.
  • Processing intercompany invoices and payments.
  • Performing treasury related activities.
  • Performing the reconciliation of intercompany balances.
  • Assisting the completion of business center audit files.
  • Contributing to GL process improvement initiatives as required.

Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under time pressures.

Professional Competencies:

  • Experience in working in a financial environment is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Good knowledge of SAP, scanning and workflow technology.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external business center customers in an effective manner.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Economics or Business related studies.
  • Professional certification such as a CPA or a CMA would be an advantage.
  • Typically 2-4 years of experience in GL processes.
  • Fluent business English (oral and written skills).
  • Experience in working within GL processes, or other core financial processes, within a complex, large volume environment.
