This globally recognised company located in Wrocław is a fast growing organisation with stable employment conditions. Its Record to Report team is expanding and they have a job vacancy for a new Team Leader.
Your new role
The main purpose of the role is to ensure correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the FSSC according to the requirements of the Group Accounting Manual for specific area of responsibility (General Ledger). You will act as functional expert for specific area responsible for issue resolution. Your key responsibilities will include coaching team members, setting goals, evaluating skill development, developing individual action plans and training team as needed. You will issue resolution for service area. You will be accountable for day to day operations in general ledger (preparing automatic and manual GL postings, reconciling of balance sheet and GL accounts, determining accruals and prepayments at month end close, execute general accounting period-end routines, performing GL close process, executing period-end checklists, capitalizing and maintaining fixed assets, performing regular bank reconciliations).
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in R2R (GL) will lead to your success. You also already have leadership experience and/or experience in transitioning accounting activities. You have good knowledge of English, so you will be able to communicate easily in a business setting. You have profound knowledge in the use of SAP. You are also able to travel from 1 day up to one week from time to time (5-8 trips in year).
