position: Stress Engineer in aircraft industry

responsibilities: You will be responsible for the analysis and verification of the strength of APPH components. This will include the evaluation of loads, calculation of static & fatigue stress levels and the compilation of qualification test requirements

salary: 17,00 gbp / hour

lenght of contract: 6-12 months

accommodation: provided by employer, paid by employee 60 gbp / week

3 years of experience as an stress engineer, you will have direct experience of stress analysis (hand calculations and MathCAD), Experience with PATRAN & ABAQUS is preferred.
It is essential candidates have direct experience of Stress test and evaluation within a Mechanical Engineering industry using PATRAN & ABAQUS
Direct aerospace experience would be beneficial, but applications from people with relevant experience from other industry segments (eg hydraulics, automotive, rail, specialist machine builders etc.) will be considered
