.NET Application Developer

Maintenance, continuous improvement, and development of the BP SMC toolset based mainly on .Net 2/3. Opportunity to work with some excellent programmers at a company with strategic links to Microsoft. We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest in Microsoft development technologies.

The candidate must be an excellent application developer with particular knowledge of C#, and the .Net Framework in general.

Education: degree in IT/Computer Science

Experience: kind of experience, duration, examples of positions held):
• At least 2 years experience of .Net Framework preferably .Net 2.0
• Undertaken software development following a structured methodology
• Undertaken and/or been involved in automated unit testing

Foreign Languages:
• Language skills are an advantage.
• Good spoken and written English

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
• Microsoft Source Safe
• UML, RUP, CruiseControl, NANT, TDD, CI, NUNIT
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000/5
• Microsoft .Net 2/3 Framework

• Microsoft ASP.Net 2.0 Web Services
• Microsoft .Net 2.0 WinForms
• Microsoft .Net 3.0 FX
• Microsoft T-SQL (Stored Procedures)
• Microsoft ADO.Net 2.0 (including use with SQL Server and Oracle databases)

• MCPD Enterprise Application Developer or MCAD
