Job Description
In the frame of a new challenging project in Brno (Czech Republic) we are searching for:
Command Centre Operator
- An excellent oportunity to start your IT career in a 24/7 IT environment
- Working language: English
Typical activities:
- Installing the server operating system and system management software
- Operating system utilities including upgrades
- Supporting the server operating system and system management software
- Managing the operating system configuration
- Managing file systems and print queues
- Monitoring and maintaining operating system log files
- Recommending operating system updates and configuration modification
- Applying operating system patches as required
- Maintaining tools for remote management and alert monitoring
- Maintaining the hardware and software configuration server information
- Managing System IDs and domain structure
- Evaluating planned changes to the server environment and advising of any requirements to support such changes
- Providing system health check and trending reports, e.g., CPU, RAM, HDD
Required skills
- University graduate with a technical degree
- Can be fresh IT graduate with some internship basic experience
- Basics of Windows or Unix/Linux
- Fluent English is a must
- Ability to work in 24/7 shift environment (includings nights, weekends, holidays) is advantage
- Reliability responsiveness and flexibility
- Teamwork skills
- Customer orientaton
- Ability to operate well in an international, multicultural environment
