Chief Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant who will join our client – a production company with a Scandinavian work culture. The company is located in Czaplinek.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting team.
- Handle full accounting records according to accounting standards.
- Responsibility for local regulatory reporting (monthly, quarterly, yearly reports) – including tax returns and annual reports.
- Month-end process management (like Inventory Valuation, settlement of MR Revenues, Fixed Assets registration).
- Relations with external institutions and government bodies, preparation of reports to the Central Statistical Office and to the NBP.
- The financial audit process management, preparation of financial statements.
- Preparation of financial information for management, on a periodic basis as well as ad-hoc as needed.
Required skills & experience:
- University degree in Accounting (or similar finance related).
- Familiarity with Polish accounting standards, deep knowledge of tax regulations.
- Previous experience in a similar role or over 5 years39 experience in an independent position in accounting, ideally in a production environment.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel and literacy of the ERP system.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English (daily communication).
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate in a multinational environment.
- The ability to work reliably and independently under deadline pressure.
